We arrived in the afternoon just after Robin, Shawn, Tyler, and Tanner arrived.
We received a call from Danny and Holly saying that they could not find their hotel, and were travelling on to St. George Island to spend the night with us.
It was pretty much a mad house after everyone arrived. The kids had a riot playing with each other as Holly and Danny explained what happened.
It turns out that Holly had reserved this fantastic five star hotel room in Panama City on the Internet. Before the trip, she had told Robin and Mom and Dad about the great deal she had gotten that had all of the extras for a remarkable price. When they arrived in Panama City on Saturday evening, they couldn’t find the address listed for the hotel. Holly called and received the number of the hotel. She told the customer support person that the number she was given had too many digits. He responded that the number he gave her was the correct number. Holly called the number and got a lady in Panama City who finally made it clear that the hotel Holly had reserved was in Panama City, Panama, *NOT* Panama City, Florida. Needless to say, when we heard about Holly’s call on Saturday afternoon in the house on St. George Island, we all thought it was a complete riot. Holly and Danny and the kids had to drive on down busy Highway 98 arriving late on Saturday night. They didn’t think it was such a great situation. When they got to the house, we made them give an extensive explanation of all that happened, laughing all the way. The kids ignored it all, excited to be together again, and racing around and around like stock cars at Daytona.
