Random Recollections

• We took a few photos around the house of the cat and Melissa. Melissa thought that I had been spending too much time at the computer and ignoring her. She came up with a pretty good ruse to get me to look her way... a computer screen face mask.
• Robin allowed us to post pictures of Tyler and Tanner. She sent the following description to Dad, "Here are some pictures of the boys that were taken at the Dallas Zoo on Tuesday night. My boss Pat gave us tickets to go to a Dallas Symphony orchestra event that was held at the zoo. We took the boys of course and they had their faces painted. Tyler is a tiger and Tanner is a lion. It was amazing watching these artists paint faces. They did it really quick too. We had a good time and the boys didn’t want to take the paint off when we got home. I thought you would enjoy seeing these pictures."
• Ellen also allowed us to post pictures of Nicky and Annie at a Florida Marlins' baseball game and at Annie's third birthday.
• We had a great time with our girls from Hong Kong at the International Students Association Banquet held at the Abilene Country Club, Friday, April 29, 2005. Peggy sent us some pictures that she said I could post.
• Holly asked Laura if she would make quilts for Courtney and Connor. This first quilt is for Courtney.
• Jay and Amy were engaged on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2005. Jay had fifteen roses waiting for Amy throughout the day... 1 on the table in her apartment, 2 in her first class, 3 in her second class, etc. He then sent her on a chase all over town in the evening until he finally surprised her at Abuelo's on bended knee.
