Annual Big Country Audubon Society Meeting - 2005

On Sunday, October 9, Laura, Melissa, and I drove to Saginaw to deliver a quilt top that Laura had made for Connor to match the one she made earlier for Courtney.
While we were there, we had a great time seeing the Macy's new backyard pool and playing with Courtney and Connor. Laura was sore the next day from playing "horsee" with both kids on her back. She had a fun time chasing all around with them. Melissa had fun playing "hide and seek." Some of the pictures were pretty blurry as it was quite difficult to catch the 'action' shots with the delay that comes with using a digital camera (I did the best I could to sharpen some of the photos). Danny and Camille had another activity that afternoon, so we didn't get a chance to visit with them.
Holly took us out to eat at Appleby's and we all had a great time. Courtney said that the rules were: "Girls with girls and boys with boys" (as far as seating arrangements at the restaurant. When she came and sat by me I asked her about it and she said that "I can sit wherever I want." We teased her about that. A few minutes later, Connor had left me and was sitting between Laura and Melissa. When Courtney saw that, she changed back to "girls with girls and boys with boys." We got a big kick out of all of this.
